Funny how you'd have to get a Ford V10 and chip it to beat the stock GM 8.1 V8.
That V10 was a real winner, see the other V10 threads in this board.

Can't resist that beautiful gravitational pull of those new GM engines.....

F150 is turning into F 1 outta here.

HI!... Well guys I ran a 14.72 E.T at 93 MPH at MILAN DRAGWAY yesterday. I was still spinning off the line a little bit and my dam "5284" error code showed up again causing throttle surges and bad idleing. If the weather was better and I could get really good traction I should be able to go 14.50's!!! By the way, this time was done with my STOCK 30 inch tall tires!!!LOL!

Neal,

just wondering if you have any 1/4 mile times from when you were still stock? Do you have any numbers for each mod as it was added?

HI!... JUST ME : When I 1st ran my truck at the dragstrip it was'nt stock. The only mods I had done to it were 4.10 gears and a custom made air intake trac with a 14 inch long K&N filter. The truck ran a 16.00E.T. It was about 95 degree's outside with a ton of humidity. Because of the 4.10 gears I was banging off the 1st to 2nd gear rev limiter so HARD that it almost stalled the truck while going down the 1/4 mile! Then I put my SUPERCHIP back in the computer and ran a 15.68E.T, but I was still hitting the 1st to 2nd gear rev limiter really hard! The next time to the track I had a custom SUPERCHIP burned for my 4.10 gears. It was just as hot as the 1ST time and I ran a 15.39E.T. That E.T was with me burning the tires off all the way through 1st gear! So as you can see I knocked off 6.1 TENTHS just with the SUPERCHIP! Then I knocked off another 6.7 TENTHS with the installation of ASP power pulleys, custom ported JBA headers, DERALE twin electric fans, BAUMANN ENGINERING shift kit on stage 5, and a relocated ATS. I still have to install 24lb injectors, ram air hood with functional ram air box, 75mm BBK throttle body, maby a PRO-M mass air meter and was thinking of getting my intake extrune honed. Then I want to see if I can get some M/T SPORTSMAN PRO tires so I can get some traction!LOL! My goal of getting into the 14's has been acheived, so now my goal is to go 13.99E.T naturally asperated!
