we don't have headers yet.Go to the computer chips forum and I am sure mike troyer of superchips will be more than happy to discuss chipping the truck. There are alot of cat back systems out there-mostly boils down to how you want it to sound. What gears are in it now?

Post 4.2L Performance Parts... where?

You'll have to forgive this intrusion from a purpose-built, rockcrawling Jeep driver, but my non-mechanically inclined best friend is in need of some power upgrades for his 2WD 4.2L powered '97 F-150.

What are the best sources for performance parts for the 4.2L engine? Looking for things like headers, exhaust, SuperChip, etc. Preferably someplace offering online ordering, but not necessary. RV Performance, or someplace like that maybe?

Also, what axle is in the rearend? Of course, being a rockcrawler, I've already told him to re-gear... best source for ring and pinion and a limited slip? A major mail-order like Randy's Ring and Pinion, or some place like that? Ford Motorsports, perhaps?

I'm trying to talk him into a Fabtech 3.5" lift, too... man, I hate the way it scrapes on everything even on a rutted ranch road...
