New Thermostat??
I was just wondering if anyone had installed an after market thermostat?? I need to replace mine and I was wondering who makes aftermarket one's for the 4.6. What are the benefits of aftermarket thermostats?? What do they ussaully cost??

The brand I've seen the most has been "Stant"
If your conserned about it just go to the parts counter at your ford dealer and get the motorcraft therm.
There isn't really much of a difference between the two of them from what I've seen, As a matter of fact the stant therm looked exactly the same as the motorcraft one I just took out.
As for price, I think I paid $5 for the stant thermostat.
