Thumbs down Arching plug wires

While installing the FIPK and cleaning the engine I noticed the factory plug wires were burnt at points of contact. This occurred in places where the wires touched brackets and sometines each other. It looked like they were actually firing to ground and each other. With 30k miles on the trusc, I'm sure it is ready for some new wires. What are the best wires for the SOHC 4.6, and are there other ignition mods that will help.

Thanks

Jacobs Electronics makes some good stuff.

I always choose to go with factory wires. Make sure they are routed correctly, and also make sure you use dilectric grease in the spark plug boots.
