Red face clutch fan

Came home (120 miles) on four cylinders after submerging the front of my truck, and noticed fluid in the engine compartment. Finally got it figured out to be a faulty clutch fan. Thinking the water stopped the fan blades and the motor was trying to keep them going. Anyway, anyone with a whine on acceleration may want to consider replacing their clutch fan with a pair of electrics. I know someone did it, but don't remember who. I run my truck through some pretty serious stuff, and am so far impressed with the way it runs.
