Question Weak straight six

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased a 1996 F-150 with a Inline 300 straight six engine and it just doesn't have the kinda power I like, is there anything I could do to the engine to increase the horsepower?

The 300 cid 6 is an engine with relatively low horsepower and excellent PULLING power. Not meant for acceleration. The engine should last over 200,000 miles easily. If you don't like the power, sell it to me.

Change out the distributer and rotor, poar seafoam (de-carbon) through the throttlebody while the engine is running, replace airfilter with a highflow filter, and sidegap the sparkplugs. My truck runs strong even when I pull my 20' bassboat.
