Here's a couple suggestions and you'll need the VIN #.

1. Go to www.carfax.com and do a VIN check. This can be a very helpful site. If you email me the VIN #. I can do you the VIN check for free. I have an account setup, but it expires 9/18. Email is jupiterak@excite.com

2. Go to the local Ford service center and have them pull up the repair history (if there's any) in their database.

3. Have a mechanic look at the vehicle before making the deal.

Good luck
