Post Check out this virtual dash.

This is a neat program that you can run on a cheap laptop and design your own instrument panel. All you need is the OB2 interface that these guys sell and download the program for free.
It even runs in a simulation mode without the interface. Compare this to some of the high priced scan tools. For $122 (and your computer) you can get all the information that the most expensive tools give. I'm sold!

This is a great find. Thanky you for sharing this with everybody. I already have a laptop so this is perfect for me. Earlier this year I had to pay a mechanic $50 to read a code for me. I also have several friends that have F-150's so they will also appreciate me helping them out. Thanks again for the great post.

I'd like to get in on that group purchase, but it will be a couple of weeks before I can get the cash (have to save the lunch money the wife gives me).
