my 4.2 has had the engine light come on more than once, first time I took it to the dealer where purchased, was fixed. the next time I took it to the dealer closest to my house, and it seemed to be fixed, but problems kept coming up, as well as thee check engine light re lighting. the dealer said the engine was running lean, but was not sure as to why so reccommended injectors cleaned, but a mechanic friend says its a vacuum leak. anyone had similar problems?

or should I just sell the thing and get a lightning?

 

It could have enough dirt or oil on it to confuse the computer by not measure all the incoming air.
