Hey guys (and gals),
I just wanted to throw something out because I have always been nothing but impressed with the helpfulness and generosity of the people who read these pages. I'm actually writing this on behalf of my brother-in-law, who doesn't know I'm doing this at all. He has recently been laid off (terminated) from a well paying job. About a year ago he bought a '01 4x4 Tundra (I know) that he bought outright without a trade. He knows he's going to have to let it go. I have no idea what he would ask for it or how he would want to handle it whatsoever, and I definitely am not speaking for him, but I would suppose that he might be willing to let somebody take up the payments just to be out from under it. It is a 4.7 V8, with 4-door cab, automatic, CD, p/w/dl/tilt/cruise, and TRD (don't say it) package. It is a metallic gray, and has 18k miles. I realize that this same situation is hitting many people right now, and I suppose I'm fortunate that it hasn't happened to me. But I would welcome any responses or leads you might could give me. I'm not actually placing an ad in the classifieds section because it is not mine to sell, but I knew that this forum is the most popular as far as reaching the most people.

As a footnote, while he was visiting my house tonight, he had brought his dog with him and left him in the back of the truck. We were inside when we heard the terrible thud, and ran outside to find the dog in the road dead. He was very close to him, and this only made his prior situation seem that much worse. I want to help him in any way I can, but unfortunately I can't do much in a financial way. I just thought writing this might have some good results. Thanks for reading this small novel.
