Question rpm power band?

Does anyone have stat.s on the inline 6, 300 cu. in. engine? I’m trying to find out at what rpm the engine produces the most torque. I believe its between 2,500 and 2,700 rpms. Any body know where I could get this info? Thanks Robert

Try looking in a shop manual. I would go to the library and see if they have a chilton or comparable manual. I used to own a 300 I-6 and couldn't even tell you the specs on it. The only thing I knew, was that it would run forever. Regular maintence and it should last 200,000 minimum.

I took a look on cars.com, and they have for a 1994 model: 145HP@3400 and 265 ft lbs @2000. That should get you pretty close, but you might want to check there under prices and specs for your specific model year. And also keep into consideration that these sites aren't necessarily accurate, but like I said that should be pretty close.
