23gal x 1.50 gal=$34.50 / 320 miles = 10.7 cents per mile.

23gal x 1.75 gal(93octane)=40.25 / 370 miles = 10.8 cents per mile.

Sounds like you did good.. You have the extra power of the superchip and K&N, at bascially the same cost/mile of stock.

Talking Gas Mileage

I was getting about 320 miles per tank(23 gals) till my next fill up. Now with 17,000 miles and a fue extra Super Chip, Dual, K & N and Super Unleaded now I am getting 370 to 23-24 gals. And keeging it uder 70 mph.

It may be close to the same cost per mile, but dont forget the initial payment for the chip, exhaust, and filter.

You hope that somewhere down the line your mods pay off. Not in this case.

Wink

dang!

All the gas mileage talk has got me thinking like a girl! Next thing ya know Ill be washing my truck once a week and hanging crap off my rearview mirror.

Whats really important is a kick in the *** and RANGE. I dont want to stop at the gas station every three days (I go 450 miles a week). The extra fifty miles would be much welcomed (I miss the 510 mile range in my Yukon).
