K&n Fipk

What is the K&N FIPK? Is this the same as the K&N Air filter?

FIPK

It is a Filter intake performance Kit, It totaly removes your intake system (the black plastic part that holds your air filter and goes to the engine) and replaces it with a new air intake tube and an open air filter.. Which in return gives you a round about range of 14-18 horspower gain.. I have the airraid FIPK and it makes a better throttle response and alittle noticable horsepower difference....

It is a very good upgrade and if you top it off with a superchip from mike it make some very noticeable horse power difference....

Just my two cents..... If you have any more Questions just ask away!!

I installed the K&N FIPK shortly after taking delivery of my SuperCrew. I didn't notice great throttle response until I installed the Magnaflow Cat-Back System; the WHOLE intake and exhaust are complete to allow the engine to breath easier and a whole lot better performance. As you can see, I also have the Superchips; rounds out the performance mods quite nicely.

P.S. I purchased a PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer - biggest waste of money so far. Buy something useful for your truck like a Flowmaster Y pipe instead, IMHO.
