I am palnning to make both upgrades. Which should I do first? I have a F-150 5.4l Gibson ex. modified air box + K&N filter. Myine is a 4X4. It will be approx three months between mods. Any suggestions?

Cool

HI!... Go with the SUPERCHIP, it gives you more H.P than a MAF and is cheaper. It's just plain better bang for the buck mod. If your truck is basically stock then a aftermarket MAF will do nothing for you.

hey

boaz,

i recently got a superchip on my truck. what a difference it makes. i was expecting to not really notice any difference. but once i installed it, reset my ECU, and took her for a spin. i was impressed. just my oppinion though. i do not know if it makes a difference, but i have a 4.2. seems to me you will get the same advantages with your 5.4.

Ok, if you plan on doing both, You have to do the maf first. Because Mike Troyer has to adjust for the MAF in the chip burn. If you do the chip first you will need to reburn the chip when the MAF is installed. I done the chip allmost last. I may need to reburn for the new headers.
