I'm still grinning at your replies with a sense of humor. Keep it up. So many people take life way too seriously.

By "BASE" in No. 9, I meant speaker systems with tremendous base that sucks your doors in and out as they go by. There's no excuse for that.

Why can't we all just get along!

 

My biggest hatred is for the people who are just not aware of the traffic around, and particularly behind them. This is the main cause of passing lane hold ups. My other, is the driver who when with my cruise set, keeps passing me and then slowing down, unaware that he has lost 10/15 mph, and then gets aggressive when I come by again. One day, I will do time for slotting one of those little gits!

I know just what you mean. I drive long distances on a regular basis, and this one idiot kept doing that for at least 300 miles. They would get in the passing lane to pass me, then about the time they got even with me in the next lane, they would start slowing down. Either that, or they would finish passing, and start slowing down. When I moved over to get by them, they realized they were slowing down and matched my speed. It makes you wish you had long arms so you could reach over and slap them I also love drivers who think signals mean, floor it!, I HAVE to get past this guy before he changes lanes Some people should be screened and get a warning for being stupid, lol!,,,,,,98

 

I hate when there are any vehicles around me. I will pass all of them to find an open space to drive in.

I haven't had too much of a problem with the fast drivers. It's the slower ones. It seems that many of these people think they were given the job of dictating the speeds of all the vehicles on the road around them. I don't want to drive in a clump of cars who's drivers appear to have not a clue!

If some one is on your bumper or in your blind spot would there be a reason? I know there are people who don't know about safe distanced and blind spots. If some one is putting along in the passing lane and has a clear lane to thier right I would be more inclined to reduce the amount of space between thier back and my front bumpers. I'm kind of saying "PLEASE MOVE!". Then if they don't I'm the "raging" driver when I pass on thier right.

I think I cut a lot of slack to my fellow drivers. It just seems that SO many are clueless!

I hate everyone on the road around me . So get off my road , I own it !!! It's mine and you didn't ask permission . If you must be on the road you could at least have the courtesy to pull over when I am coming thru .

I think most people got their Driver's License at K-Mart! They seem to be unconscious of everyone else on the road around them.

I drive fast but I am alert. I rode motorcycle on the street for years and you don't last long unless you're constantly looking behind, beside and way down the street ahead of you.

When I get a jerk who thinks he's going to "draft" behind me going fast, he's got another think coming! If I had to slam on my brakes for any reason ... he would end up in the bed of my truck. I don't like tailgaters and I have been known to "tap" my brakes to let them know ... but that just pi$$es them off. What do you guys do to get rid of a persistant tailgater? Some times I pull off of the road, to let him pass, and then get behind him.

I hate people who insist on driving unconsciously right in my blind spot for blocks too. It's stupid and dangerous. Defensive driving courses tell you NOT to ride in another driver's blind spot. Stay behind them or pass. But, never stay half way inbetween. Especially with 18-Wheelers!!

Another dumb stunt that "Chaps My Cheeks" is drivers who make you hit your brakes at cross streets!! They are going 50 mph right up to a stop sign before they slam on their brakes, and pull clear across the cross-walk and almost out in front of you before they finally bring it to a stop. Then they give you a stupid grin like, "I know that was stupid ..." It's not only stupid ... it's dangerous, irresponsible and illegal. Period.

I figure the guys (ladies) who pass then slow down so I have to pass are just so impressed with my ride, they can't decide which view angle is best.

Guess I can't fault them for that.

 

Man I had this real idiot today, lol. Picture a purple Cavalier driven by some strango that looked like Grizzly Adams on his way to a Metallica concert. He tried unsuccessfully to pass me on the right on a one lane exit ramp. The one lane exit ramp turned into a one lane underpass, on which he again tried to pass on the right. I turned left to go back the other way on the freeway, and he followed as closely as he could without touching my bumper. After a 1/4 mile or so he made a right turn almost hitting another driver waiting at the intersection. He must have been on his way to something really important(Maybe his dealer?,,HAHAHA) I'm just glad he was as indifferent as he was rude. ,,,,,98

 

No they didnt get thier drivers lisence at K-Mart!! I went there yesterday and they are out of stock, just like everything else!!!! Musta been Wal-Mart!!
