Powerdyne charger on, so is Check Engine light!
I just got my Powerdyne supercharger installed last night. It cranked up fine and idles good parked. However, the Check Engine light stays on continuously and the idle falls off to 300-400 rpm when in gear. It has died twice at lights already because the idle was so low. AND, I don't seem to have any more pick-up than I had before I started. It takes an even longer time to take off from a stop because I'm idling so low. I just don't think everything's clicking just right. I've double and triple-checked all connections and don't see anything I've overlooked. I even started with a fresh tank of 93 Super. Does anyone have any ideas? I've read other threads about MAF's that get oil blow-by from the K&N filter. Could this be it? I'm going to call Ford Motorsports technical assistance line later this morning to pick their brains. Somebody tell me that my $2000 and four days of effort were in fact worth it. Right now I just have a funny-sounding F150 that stalls at stoplights. Thanks.
