any of you guys with 5.0 motors have electric fans? which one did you use? any cooling problems? i want to order one, but i have nooo clue which one to get for my trucj (see sig.). Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

 

are you excluding mustangs? I have a fiero V6 fan in my 90GT. It is basically a bolt on motor with intake, ported heads, exhaust and tuning. Works fine in Oregon.

On the F150, I got a fan from Crown Vic. Works even better. See what you can find at the local wrecking yards.

 

good idea, im gonna go over to the junk yard this weekend, see if i find anything. do electric fans in general help cool the engine more than regular fans? my main reason to switch to electrical is that i have a hard time keeping my truck running cool in miami traffic during the summer, and im looking for a better way to cool the engine off.
