Just purchased a 1999 Flareside Lariat. I have a had great experiences with Jacobs on other vehicles and wanted to install something similar for the 5.4. This is the response I received from Jacobs:

"We do not have an ignition system yet for the 5.4 Triton motors. It seems
our ignition computer/coil driver is too powerful for the coil on plug Ford
coils! So, it's back to the drawing board. As soon as we get something into
the prototype stage we'll know what works best with the modifications you are
planning.

Maybe they will apply their excellent coil technology to build replacement coils for a yet to be designed DIS.
