Question Help Quick, Please!!!

Hey guys,
I need some help fairly quick. I hopefully am selling my '97 F150 in a matter of days, which is a good thing. The big problem is, I just removed my Powerdyne supercharger tonight and returned everything to factory original. Cranked her up, ran like a top. THEN, I try to give it a little throttle. Guess what, she won't take any throttle without dying. Seems she learned how to run with the blower, and now without it, she doesn't know what to do. I cranked and shut off, cranked and shut off, etc. many times. Oh, and prior to cranking her up, I disconnected the battery for maybe 30 minutes to 'reboot', then reconnected, and so on. My question is, how do I get her running like she's supposed to in a matter of days, two hopefully, before the new buyer actually wants to take her for a drive, and she dies every time he gives it any throttle? Am I gonna make it, or is this a lengthy process of re-learning the original running conditions? He'll never buy it with it running like it is now. If I try to drive her a good bit in the next two days, will she get back to normal? I really need some good advise on this one. Somebody, anybody, please help!!! Thanks a million.

Does the Check Engine light come on? I would double check the vacuum lines and all electrical connectors. Good luck.

You don't have a chip programmed for the blower in it, do you?

Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies so far. To answer your questions, last night the Check Engine light never came on, but it would die every time I gave it gas. This morning I drove it to work. It finally seems to be taking the throttle alright, but the light did come on and stay. It seems to be 'stumbling' at speed (not a lot of power), but it isn't dying. I've never installed a chip in it. I'm thinking now that I may be losing vacuum; when reassembling with the original parts, some had gotten lost, which included a couple hose clamps that go on the air intake tube, the one right out of the MAF section, and the one where it connects to the throttle body. The local Auto Zone didn't have clamps big enough, and nobody else was open that late. I was hoping things would be tight enough without them, but I may have been wrong. I'll try another store or two today. Does anybody have any more ideas? I also plan on going to a shop to have the code read from the Engine light, and maybe that will take away the questions. Still, if anybody has other suggestions, please send them my way. I really appreciate it. Thanks.
