Talking She's in!!!!!!

My dealer just called--She's in!!! (took 7 weeks). I would like to thank all of you for the information posted here. It's by far the best site I have found. I can't hardly wait to see her.Waiting for the past 7 weeks have been pure HeLL but I finally have the truck that I have always wanted. I'm sellng my 94 Ram outright and chose the F-150 over the others for many reasons but the reliability, looks and comfort really won me over.I have the 3.31 rear end and dont plan to tow much, if any. Can you give me some comments about the 3.31's and any suggestiont for a firt time F-150 owner. I'll pick her up after work today and go back tomorrow to sign the papers. The guy I'm selling the Ram to is out of town today.
A little hassel but I'll get to check her out real good before signing. I'll stop now.YEEEHAWWWW.

Cajun,
Wellcome to the club, one advise though, the guy's here are kind of snob's when it is refered to the F series, I will recommend before one of them notice it to change your sig. it aint flair, it is flareside, and enjoy your truck the most.

Well, I took delivery. What a great truck!!
I never thought a truck was capable of driving so well and could be that comfortable. I found a crease about 1.5 inches long on the drivers side of the hood by the hindge. It's barely noticeable but I called my dealer and he said to bring it in and have the service mgr. check it out. It's Not a big deal to me but I want to have it documented in case it gets worse. No floor mats were in it(the F-150 book shows the mats as standard option on XLT). Told the dealer, no mats no sell, so he ordered them.
Up to this point, I'm really happy with the whole experience. Now if I can only find the plugs.hehehe

Cool

If your having a problem keeping your mats, carpets clean, I can suggest installing some and can be ordered in gray, tan or black. We have 48,000 on our truck and the carpets still look brand new, no stains, rips, or wear marks. Just wish the we still had that "new" truck smell. If you get a set make sure you include the center hump mat too. The 3 front pieces will run you about $90.00 Best of luck.

I have the Ford F-Series mats for the driver and passenger but couldn't find one for the center hump (I have a regular cab).

Could you post where you got the center hump mat and cost?

Thumbs up

Congratulations on finally getting your truck. Welcome to the F-150 family. The people here are nice, helpful, and informed. FYI the AirAid is not 50-state CARB legal; neither is the WMS velocity tube. The only 50-state CARB legal FIPK is the K&N; if that matters to you.

Congrats on your new truck!! I went though the same deal with the floormats. I didn't notice until after everything was signed, and I ordered them on my own. They were still willing to eat the cost even after the sale, guess thats why I keep coming back to them. You'll like the mats, although they're a pain to keep clean.
