Question 7 pin

What is the difference of the 7 pin connector for towing versus the flat 4 pin?

I have this round thing that you plug into the tow bar at the back that is round, but the other end is 4 pins. Is there a difference?
What is a class III hitch versus other classes?

This question should be asked in towing and hauling.

7 pin you can have trailer brakes and stuff. the classes are for different weight capacities. Class III is like 4,000 lbs class IV is like 6,000 lbs or something like that.

I'm not so stiff that I won't even try to answer your question out of category...You have your standard running lights pin, you turn lights pin, your brake lights pin, you even have your trailer brake pin. To top it all off, you even have a pin that charges your trailer battery if you have one so that your trailer brakes will work. Hope this helps.
