topic says it... what exactly is included iwht a factory towing package? reciver hitch? better springs? shocks?

A class III reciever hitch, seven pin trailer connecter, versus the wee little 4 blade flat one that's standard, supposedly a high capacity radiator, and a transmission cooler. Maybe a set of "heavy duty shocks" however, i'm not sure on that. Anyone care to back me??

 

Also a little plug in adaptor thingy under the steering column into which you plug a trailer brake actuator

 

I don't believe the radiator is any different on trucks with the tow package vs. without. That is the whole radiator customer service program thing. Any truck manufactured after May, 2001 will not be eligible for the radiator upgrade.

You do get the tranny cooler though.

That's a helluva battery for $210.

 

And THEN they hide the battery under a plastic cover so you can't even double-check that it's there until you take off the battery cables.
