Cant get fuel filter off?

Know what you mean...Tried 2 stores...out of stock had to order..didnt want to wait....Ford filter 19.12 w/tax. ouch!
PKR...tks for tip...Later on at Carquest here (Ace hdware) they had one for 12.00+tax. Online has good price. Metal disconnect tool was about 7.00 at Pep Boys.
KY...yeah, wasnt aware of that either. My Hayne listed two ways, i did the pump shut off, cause thats they way i did it on my 88 F250. Maybe next time ill try thru the valve on fuel rail..seems that maybe easier & faster...I believe someone posted about that?
