AirRaid FIPK??

what is a AirRaid FIPK. I have a 2001 4.2L 5spd and someone told me it would increase power at about 2500 rpms? is this true? what is it? thanks.

It eliminates the airbox, replaces the air filter with a K&N filter and replaces the tube between the airbox and throttle body with a smoother, prettier tube. Follow the links to the online store on the left of this page - there are pictures & prices there. It will add a noticeable power increase above 3,000 rpm and also give a much racier sound when you are hard on the gas (but it is still quiet when you are cruising).

It is a simple do-it-yourself.

Unfortunately, Airaids directions are lame (unless they improved them since I bought mine). I was so irritated by the weak directions, I wrote this thread to assist other V-6 owners.
