Post emissions: EFI or a Carb?

Engine gurus. Which would be better for emissions, a carb or efi?

I would vote for EFI. The ability of a processor to read O2 sensor, and adjust injector duration to hit the 14.7 : 1 air/fuel ratio. There were a couple of semi-computer controlled carbs in the past, but they couldn't compare with what electronically controlled EFI could do.

I assumed emissions was better on a EFI controlled engine. Just wanted proof.

I would say EFI if a carb was better than why is everything sold new fuel injected.
