dustoff mentioned it and I thought it would be a good idea to start a topic to post your engine build date and what problem if any you are having. My engine(5.4) was built 8/13/99 no problems yet 3400 miles.

My 4.6L that is in my build date 3/96 truck ( I never have looked up the engine build date)Has had no engine problems other than a few leaking plug wire boots. I am now at 48,500 miles
