Tornado fuel saver
I own a 2001 Supercrew 4x4 lariat and just saw an informercial for the tornado fuel saver. Its a product that slips into your intake and is suppose to create better air fuel mixture providing better combustion which supposedly guarantees 5-20 horsepower and 5-24% better milage! anybody hear or experienced with this product?
finlander,
Don't waste your money. Bought one for my '97 Eddie Bauer Expy and in two tanks of gas noticed absolutely no performance increase and my fuel mileage actually decreased by a few tenths (which I might be able to chalk up to different types of driving - but at best I'd say no mileage increase). Besides, the thing was a crappy piece of shiny tin that someone with a decent pair of tin snips could make themselves if they really wanted to. Bought mine from RV Performance and returned it within thirty days to get my "money back guarantee" honored and it took them six months and the threat of an attorney before I saw a credit on my credit card. The Tornado sucks and RV Performance is even worse.
Just my $.02,
Dan

I can't believe they are still showing those commercials! Should be against the law and I thought there were laws against false advertising.........
This thing "may" make a difference on a carborated engine, but not in multi port FI engine.
