Question Changing Plugs

Is it extremely hard to change plugs yourself? Are there special wrenches, etc??

Which engine do you have? If you have
the 5.4, it's a nightmare! Took my
dealer 2.5 hours to change due to
location of the plugs. I don't know,
but I think the 4.6 and 4.2 are not as bad.

Took me about 25 minuts to change plugs, very easy on the V6

Do NOT use Bosch platinum plugs on late model Ford trucks. Waste of time, money and fuel. I tried those and it made my engine sluggish, hard to start and really bad fuel economy. It's best to go with the Ford plugs, they are inspensive but have a good warranty.
