I was told that it might be the starter not fully disengaging every time I accelerate or have the truck running on a hill I get a very loud ting ring coming from the flywheel area i checked the fly wheel bolts they are tight, I already removed all rusted heat shields. any one else have this problem?

 

Have you ran the truck without the transmission attached?
