To keep it short. I bought a 99 f250 with a 5.4 had 181k. Starting ticking a day later.
2k later, started knocking. I haven’t started it since it started knocking.
I have a 2010 5.4 motor (no idea from what, junk yard said it would fit my truck) and I was wondering if anyone has any idea if it would fit my 99 f250 that originally has a 5.4 in it.

If it's out of a F150 or Expedition, it's a 3 valve with variable cam timing. Not an easy swap due to wiring and electronics. If it's out of a van, it's a 2 valve and is almost a direct swap.
