Idle air controller is probably stuck open.

Hopefully you didn't try to clean the throttle body while it was still on the engine. If you did, you destroyed the the gasket between the lower and upper intake manifold. A high uncontrollable idle is usually the result. You cannot put any chemicals down the throttle body as they will damage the gasket.

If the Idle Air Control seems to be the issue, try cleaning it after removing it from the intake. Take a good look at the mount for it. It should have 2 ports that get clogged up and need cleaning occasionally. Again, no chemicals go down the intake so stuff it with rags if cleaning. The IAC gasket is a dry gasket and can usually be reused.

You also may want to make sure you didn't break or knock off a vacuum hose.
