Standard swap?

I know that there is a ton of swap threads on here but I haven’t seen 1 that has my situation. My truck 01 f150 Sc with 4.6 two wheel drive. Kid spun a bearing in it after I had it 197k on it. So junk yard has a couple crown Vic one is an 07 4.6... both my engine and the crown Vic are Romeo engines. Is it a standard swap for me? Keep my intake and pan oil pump, mounts stuff like that? Look like both engines have the COP and not coil packs. There is also an 04 crown 4.6 that looks in good condition.

Should be pretty straightforward as long as the dead engine has PI heads. If not, you are going to have to find a set of PI truck manifolds.

I believe that's PI. When you pull the intakes, compare the port sizes and shapes.

Yeah, like glc, just to be certain, just compare the intakes. Or do some Google searching. There are plenty of pictures showing PI versus non-PI intakes.

So I seen on here that the engine from a crown Vic won’t have the same stroke as an engine from a truck. How much power would I lose or will it even work with my ecm with the different engine?

Exact same engine except for the tuning, which is in your ECM.

GLC you think this will work for my swap?

This is an engine I found it is a Romeo I believe with the W in the 8th digit. So this will work? GLC?
