Just put a Q-tip through my MAF filament. Wire broke and fell away.
Put things back together, truck runs great, but the Serv. Eng. Soon light stays on. Questions:

1) How soon do I need to get another one? (like tomorrow?).

2) Has anyone priced the Ford OEM ?

3) Do I need to buy a whole MAF or can the effector end be purchased?

4) Maybe this is good time to upgrade to a larger one and have Mike Troyer re-burn my Superchip.

 

I believe that little coil of wire is platinum, so it's not going to be cheap. If you plan on doing this more often, I'd save the broken wires and you'll eventually have enough to melt into a ring for your sweetie!
