yes, heard bad things about them. Right now I am thinking I will go with Long Block from Ford and reuse my heads, phasers etc.

Thanks Roadie. Looking at used f150's now. Might be cutting the losses and running away like glc suggested. Wait a few minutes and I'll change my mind again... errr.

Just stay away from the 3 valve engines.

Those trucks look great! You may get better financing and come out just as well on a comparable new truck when you consider you get a full warranty and new tires and everything else. But we all like to spend other peoples money! You know better than us which direction to go.

You might want to avoid that 2018 - there have been issues with the 10 speed transmission.

Found a 2015 XLT Eco boost 3.5 with 29k, Seems really clean, couldn't find a scratch or anything else wrong with it. Carfax etc all clean. Off lease vehicle. Picking it up tomorrow.
