Electrical issues

So I have a 2012 F-150 XLT. It is a crew cab with just the v-8 in it? I drove to the store today and it was uneventful. Came out of the store and truck wouldn't turn over or crank. So im thinking battery some how. Then I noticed the gauges on the dash would light up and bounce around, Radio, dome light, door chimes, etc will turn on and off like there is a short. Truck is in park and it is not coming out of it. there is audiable clicking like relay's opening and closing. Im thinking its the PCM but not sure. Just wondering what some of you think,

Symptoms are consistent with a bad battery, bad battery cable or connection. Start there.

I would think it's the battery if you haven't changed it out. If you don't know, hopefully someone punched the date code out on it.
