Extended High Idle at Startup

Extended High Idle at Startup
I'm hoping someone here can assist me in understand what's going on with my truck; 2014 5.0 FX4 screw, 165,000 kms.
From the day I bought it and brought it home it would always idle at around 1500 RPM for no more than 2 or 3 minutes regardless of the outside temperature before dropping down to 800 (normal idle) upon startup. I bought it at the beginning of winter, so I don't believe it was a learning period as it was cold for the first part of its life with me.
Around 10,000 kms ago I had the throttle body replaced due to actuator failure and ever since the truck will stay at high idle for extended periods - usually I don't wait long enough for it to drop since i don't like sitting there idling for more than 4-5 minutes. I assume that something has been reset with the TB change - can somebody confirm this for me? Can I expect the truck to re-learn "normal idle" over time?
