Engine swap

Hello, I have a 2003 Ford F150 Harley Davidson Edition truck. Was wondering does anyone know what SUV my engine will fit in? Its the 5.4L supercharged engine.

Should fit fine in an Expedition or a Navigator, being that they are based on the F-150.

I believe the supercharged engine came with the heavier duty automatic so switch that too or beef up the 4R70W

Awesome, thank you fellas. Do you know if any particular year would be a direct fit?

A lot of Expys and Navis came with the 4R100.

Your biggest issue will be electronics. 4R100 and 4R70W use totally different PCM and a different wiring harness. Year doesn't matter, the engine will fit and will bolt to the transmission. Electrically, that's a different story.

Lou - I moved your thread out of Forum Suggestions into V8 engines because I think you'll get more and better advice here.

As glc said, though. The biggest problem will be electronics.
