Trade it in. It's a heavy truck with a big engine.

Seriously, just make sure maintenance is properly done, tires are properly inflated, and drive conservatively. If you have oversized and/or aggressive tires and/or a lift kit, that doesn't help either.

Buy (energy) tires with low rolling resistance and inflate them to the max. I use P-metric Michelin radials and pump them up ot 40psig. 44 is the max for these tires. A tune can help also.

What you would pay for a tune or anything else will take a LONG time to pay off.

What mileage are you getting under what type of driving conditions? What gasoline are you using?

Im getting 13.5-14mpg. I am an easy driver and the last 2 tanks of fuel have been 87 octane and 85% highway driving under 70mph

How many miles are on this truck? How long do you plan to keep it. I bought my superchips programmer when I bought my truck in 2009 and it was used with a price of $150. But the truck runs so much better I would have been happy that I bought it if I only kept it another year.

almost 200k but looks and runs like it’s new. I’m not too concerned with price as I plan to keep the truck several more years. I’m not familiar st with tuners unfortunately

14 mpg is about what to expect with that truck. The less ethanol in the fuel, the better the mileage will be. Maybe it's time for some maintenance such as new spark plugs? Throw some Techron in the fuel to clean things out and check your tire pressures. Try to use only top tier gas, offbrands frequently will reduce the mileage.

Proper maintenance.

Go on a diet. Not you, your truck. If you got 300lbs of tools you dont use - ditch em.
Consider your tires. Proper air pressure goes a long way. Lower rolling resistance tires may help. if you got 44 super swampers, consider the stock tires.
Regear. If your rear end is going out and its time, consider a different ratio to lower the rpm while cruising if you dont need the extra power.
Lower it. If your truck is jacked up to the sky, consider lowering it back to stock height.
Remove add ons. Some add ons help fuel efficiency. Some dont. The spoiler on a tonneau cover or those windshield visors dont.
