Better swap for 5.4
I have a 2006 super crew with the 5.4 that died at 152k thanks to the cam jumping timing and trying to mate the valves and pistons.
Anyway, before jumping into another 5.4 rebuild I was wondering if anyone has had any experience swapping something else in?

A better swap for the 5.4
Swap the 5.4 Ford for Chevy truck with a LS add twins 88's and call it a day!
I have 220k miles on my F150 and so far I have replace the original 5.4 with a junk-yard 5.4 lasted a few months. I paid a thief from Mobile Alabama to build me a 5.4 his name is Ronald Lister he took me for $6k. Now I have a Jasper engine thank goodness it has a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty because this junks phaser are so noisy it ridiculous. It sounds like a really bad bottom end knock only at idle!!!! This is why I say just get a Chevy with the near bullet proof LS under the hood. Oh and if any of you want a reward and know that thief Ronald and can supply me with a valid address or phone number I'll be happy you send you enough for a good weekend for you and your significant other. Thanks guys!!!
