Just started having this problem. While the truck is off and in park it would intermittently (about every hour or so) try to turn itself on, like it would crank but not fully turn on the truck. The next day we start driving and after a couple of minutes starts to crank, and does so more frequently even when the truck is already on and moving. After looking online we may think it has something to do with the wiring. We disconnected the battery terminals and let it sit for a minute, reconnected and the truck immediately starting to make the starting noise again. Truck turns on fine when we turn the key in the ignition. Maybe a bad relay?
