here's an update on my 5.4 after replacing all the timing parts it ran good but I thought it was a little flat and it stayed that way for a couple trips then it started missing on cylinder 5 and 6 I checked the coil and the plug and the injector all was fine so I checked the compression and I only had 60 in one cylinder and 30 in the other I thought well maybe it did bend a valve so I pulled the heads and my exhaust valves were burnt what would cause The valves to be burnt like that and it wasn't just those cylinders it was seven out of eight cylinders the exhaust valves were burnt my converters were toast also I just put a remanufactured engine in on Saturday so far so good

Just wanted to add that I took all the new parts out of the old engine before I sent it back
