Misfire

Well I'm back again, ok 98 F150, 4.6, 138,000 miles, started misfiring this morning pretty bad CEL flashing, checked when I got to work showed misfire on 1, when I got home I checked all of them to make sure they hadn't worked their way loose,(had that problem with #8) all were tight, so I turn the CEL off and drove it same thing only worse, this time it was showing #1 and #8,change the wires a few months ago, any ideas on what is going on now? Thanks

I had a similar issue with another truck--an Isuzu Rodeo with a miss on #3. I changed the #3 plug and coil, but no help. Then replaced the #3 injector which required replacing the intake manifold gaskets. That fixed it. If you've got compression and ignition, it could be mixture. Maybe head gasket leak sucking coolant and causing misfire?

Put a couple of bottles of Gumout for high mileage engines in the gas.
