I am using the havoline synthetic oil , a friend of mine who also post here is a texaco oil rep, we use all texaco oil's at my shop and have had very good luck with them, i am going to give it a try, with ford being they way they are about the engine problem a little extra insurance is worth it you have to change your oil any way,
I am please with the havoline oil so far the one thing that i have noticed is that on a cold start up 0-20f the oil presure gauge snaps up to full presure much faster than with the conventional oil that was in it .I did my first oil change at 2000 miles i now have 2700 on the engine, mileage has improved slightly .
The form you have to fill out comes in the case of oil .
If the big cheese is reading this , i am sure there are some things you can add.

I am not looking for a hot debate on this topic, i was only posting it because it was intresting to me , and maybe some one else would be intrested in it as well, and yes they want you to have reciept , that is the only way they can make their warranty , if you use their product.
As far os oil goes (others will disagree i am sure) i think you can take all the oil labels off and throw them away, it oil meets a the spec and you change it as insructed in the owners manual you won't have an oil caused failure. This opinon comes from my years of being a cert. mechanic. I am not talking about racing or extened drain intervals just normal use. Diesel semi truck engine are about the most severe use you can get, the shop i work at has tried alot of oil's the bottom line was cost, they all met the spec made by the manufacture's no differance in milage or wear(oil was sampled) extened drain is a joke it is somthing to hype up sale's kinda like a 100,000 mile tune. any way's the phone number is listed call them see what you think , I have nothing to do with texaco at all so it isn'ty a sales pitch,
Intresting oil gauge thread what a bummer my chevy and dodge had a real gauge.
this is my 02 worth take as you will .
have a merry christmas.

Quaker State has this too,
I think it is a ploy. I wouldn't put Q/S in any car that I plan on keeping for 10 years
Q/S oil if full of Wax!

You got me interested. One question:
Does this warrant the engine for any type of failure (electrical, mechanical, etc) as long as you didn't abuse it? Or does it only warrant against oil related failures?
Examples would be cracked head, thrown rod, bad coil, that fail because of defects not related to lubrication.

Hello Steve,
I also use the Texaco Synthetic, but my mileage is above the maximum you have listed. But anyway , I changing mine at 5000 intervals as listed in my manual and using the pureone filter.
