engine swap

My buddy wrecked his 2002 ford lightning last week and i have a 2000 ford lightning i ask if i can buy it from him. Does it matter if i put that motor in my truck it has about 160 more hp then my motor can it be done

You sure about that? There is only a 20 hp difference between the 2000 and 2002 Lightning engines. That isn't worth the swap unless your engine is shot.
