My buddy wrecked his 2002 ford lightning last week and i have a 2000 ford lightning i ask if i can buy it from him. Does it matter if i put that motor in my truck it has about 160 more hp then my motor can it be done

You sure about that? There is only a 20 hp difference between the 2000 and 2002 Lightning engines. That isn't worth the swap unless your engine is shot.

His engine has about 520 to 550 hp about 635 ft some where aroud not exactly those #s but its in that range
