Truck Dies, Won't Start

Hi, I am new to this site, hope this is were you ask a question. I have a 2011 F-150 that keeps dying (like it has ran out of gas, than it will not start, has been in the shop 3 times and the 2 months that I have had it. the 1st time the mechanic shop replaced some of the spark plug and coil packs. ran for about a week. Than did the same thing, this time they replaced the fuel pump. I drove it about 100 miles stop fill it up and again it dyed act like its not getting any fuel. I had AAA take it back to the shop. The mechanic can't find anything wrong it starts and runs fine has no codes. Some may say its because I am women lol but my husband or the AAA driver could get it started. Any suggestions to what could be wrong? I told him to keep it a few days drive it still running fine.

Two things.
1 When was the fuel filter changed last?
2 Apparently your mechanic is a parts thrower. Find a mechanic that has a clue how to use a scanner or expect to throw more parts at it that won't fix anything but a heavy wallet.

1. Fuel filter is inside the tank and is supposedly a "lifetime" filter.

I agree with Labnerd in that you definitely need a better mechanic. That guy is wasting your money big time.
