i was thinking more of a picture of where it is at.

i had this happen one time and i put a very aggresive sticky tape on the end of a 5/16" steel rod. i was able to apply a little pressure and it stuck.

if in a place with no pressure can be applied how about some silicon adhesive on the end of a rod, put it in place on the part and then wait for the adhesive to set. pull out.

Thank you guys for your help. I ended up getting a tool grabber with a claw on the end and snaked in down into my engine and very carefully grabbed it and pulled it out.... I felt like I was a kid again winning on the prize claw vending machine. It was a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. Thanks again guys!
