My 2000 F150 5.4 4 four-wheel-drive started having trouble starting off and soon after that I would have to rev it for 10 to 20 seconds before it would take off and recently wouldn't move at all the matter how much I reved it up so I pulled out the transmission. And then started to wonder would the torque converter be garbage if the transmission was?
