coil pack help!

coil pack help!

I have a 98 ford f150 and i got the coil pack wet during a radiator flush... i kno dont ask... but anyway my truck is misfiring cylinders 4 nd 5 should i buy a oem coil? Or it doesnt really matter??

I assume you have a 4.6? 4 and 5 are on different coil packs.

Before you go out and buy new coil packs pull the spark plug boots and make sure there is no coolant in the plug wells. This condition will give you misfires as well.

#4 is prone to misfire from a coolant leak back there, it's right under the lines for heater core. Like was said before, check that too.
