Question about the grommets around the bolts on the 4.6 romeo valve covers. some of my grommets are cracked / leaking and I was wondering if i can just replace the grommets individually without removing the entire valve cover?

 

Yes, loosen one bolt at a time then pop the grommet out, drop in the new one and seat it in its pocket then torque the 8mm bolt 8-12 nm. Then move to the next.
